This Sunday things are a little different. Happy it is, April 25 1974 is the day a military coup ended 48 years of dictatorship in Portugal. The signals were broadcasted songs that allowed the military to know if the coup was going and ahead. The first song to be played was the one we picked for today. E Depois do Adeus (And After The Farewell) sang by Paulo de Carvalho was the go ahead cue. It was actually broadcasted at 10:55 p.m. on Emissores Associados de Lisboa the night before.
