Por Quem os Sinos Tocam documentary | My New CelloShort Comedy Film

Por Quem os Sinos Tocam is a documentary about the Elias Family owners of Carrilhão Lvsitanvs, the largest and heaviest itinerant carillon in the world. Por Quem os Sinos Tocam can be watched here: https://www.rtp.pt/play/p11085/por-quem-os-sinos-tocam If you’re unable to see it on RTP, YouTube has some clips of the documentary.

Lvsitanvs was in Porto a few days ago performing purpose written music pieces by Fátima Fonte, Fernando Lapa and Rui Cunha. Lvsitanvs teamed up with the carillon from Torre dos Clérigos in a magic bells singing. Lvsitanvs was played by Ana Elisa Carrilhão da Torre dos Clérigos by
Abel Chaves.

I come across American cellist Nick Canellakis through one of those Instagram feed showing thing you may like. It was one of his comedic reels. From there I looked into My New Cello a very amusing short film. Anyone who has a beloved instrument or finds itself with an historic one relates to this wonderful exaggeration. Go to youtube and laugh. 😀
